My no-sew easy to move "safety-curtain" for my classroom door. It is a dowel rod and command hooks spray painted with oil rubbed bronze and drawer pulls hot glued to the ends. A no-sew curtain long enough to cover the door and then some is draped over the rod so the pattern shows from the outside too. Then I rolled up the material and then used Velcro to attach the ribbons. Now I can quickly cover my classroom door window if needed.

@Meredith - Cute classroom idea. Easy and adorable No Name board. Clip papers that don't have names on them to the board and have students go check there instead of spending your time trying to figure out who they belong to!
Cute idea. Definitely will have to adapt for the high school classroom!
Cute No Name Paper Holder/ I love this idea of hanging up papers that have missing names!! #classroom #decoration
No Name board. Clip papers that don't have names on them...I could use this idea in my high school classroom.
Classroom organization- Make a "No Name" board for homeless homework (homework with no names)
In my future classroom, I would place this on the wall and anytime I receive a paper with no name, I would simply hang it on the clip. This would ideally save time from asking all the time "Who's paper is this?" This way all the students have to do is go check the clips everyday or wait until they don't receive an assignment back and then go claim one on the clips. Once they see their paper, they can write their names and replace the assignment in the tray.

Quiet Critters - from Relief Teaching Ideas Facebook page. Cute and simple!
Great for lower school
Great Idea for my Teacher Friends - Quiet Critters. They live in a soundproof jar & only come out when it's quiet. Loud noises hurt their ears, but whispering is ok. They love to sit on students' desks & watch & learn from the students. If the student is too loud, they get moved to the other side of their desk. If they continue to be loud they go back into their jar. At the end of the quiet lesson whoever still has a Quiet Critter on their desk can have whatever incentives you have in the room.
My class loves our Quiet Critters & often ask if they can be brought out. QuietCritters live in a soundproof jar & only come out when it's quiet. wink emoticon Loud noises hurt their ears, but whispering is ok (or however you want to work it). They love to sit on students' desks & watch & learn from the students. They don't mind being patted but they get scared if anyone picks them up or tries to play with them. If the student is too loud, they get moved to the other side of their desk. If they
