I'm admittedly a jazz freak! Ever since I first heard this music pouring out of one of the NYC bars in the '50s, I fell in love with jazz. This was solidified by living in Chicago during the '60s and hearing "The Chicago Jazz Sound". Last time I was in Chicago, 1985, as I was moving to California, I went to the Playboy Jazz Festival. My old love was recently kindled by meeting two of jazz's Greats: Glen Zottola and Ira Nepus.

Junior Wells leaves an amazing legacy as a master of Blues harmonica and definitely one of the greatest live performers the Blues has given us as you see in the videos above. Whether it be his incredible voice, harp playing or his smooth moves on stage, Junior gave every bit he had to the audience and loved connecting to people in that way.
