One of the last photos of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis. After a diagnosis of cancer in January 1994, she died in New York City on May 19 that same year. She was interred next to her first husband, President John F. Kennedy, and two infant children, a daughter, Arabella, stillborn in 1956, and a son, Patrick, born in 1963, who lived only two days, in Arlington National Cemetery.
Campaigning in West Virginia. The poverty there affected Jackie so she decided to use a WV crystal manufacturer for the White House crystal. She said if that was her only way to help them, she'd break every glass in the White House weekly to keep them running.
