A grand conversation provides "students with organized and facilitated time to talk about and listen actively to one another’s thinking, justify their thinking to others and reflect on what they are learning. These organized – and safe – discussion forums encourage students to share and challenge ideas. Students find that their voices, ideas and experiences are valued and contribute directly to the learning." This is what we all want in our classrooms, right?
