The words are the first 25 High-Frequency Words by Fountas and Pinnell) To get started: *Print and copy the pages you’d like to use *Place them in a bin with scissors, a glue sticks, and several child friendly magazines, catalogs, or advertisements for students to search for their words! *Let your students have at it!

There can be 3-4 stations with each station asking a question about a story element (characters, setting etc). Each stations has enough squares for each student in the class to write their answer. Students must support their answer with evidence from the story. Knowing their answers will be displayed helps increase student engagement!
