Frank Sheryak ~ Do you have tons of information on an ancestor and few or no photos? Then scrap a genealogical page! This interesting two page layout features a grandfather's birth records on the left and his trip to the US on the right. Scans of the documents, a postcard of the ship he emigrated on and a tiny portrait illustrate his story while journaling gives the details of his life. To bring the pages together, a curvy flowering vine border and angled elements add movement and draws the eye

Cousins...not everyone in your heritage album has to be dead to be included. Scrap a few pages about living family too! This adorable page includes modern photos printed in B/W for continuity in the heritage album. I love the individual photo enlargements taken from the group photo for more detail.
