Homemade makeup remover wipes. I'm totally going to try these. My results - ok cutting the roll of paper towels in half was a challenge & didn't look very pretty. I used viva towels & came out awesome! I did add tea tree oil to mine (5 drops) because of our humidity in Houston. Next time I am going to use just 1 Tbsp of the coconut oil.
Homemade makeup remover wipes. (REALLY?!?!) Oh my gosh!

Homemade Make Up Remover Wipes How Awesome! SO MUCH Cheaper than buying them all the time!!!! These really work! They actually clean better than the neutrogena makeup remover wipes. I am going to add more coconut oil next time to have it more moisturizing, and some tea tree oil because it feel so good on the skin.---Elizabeth F.
diy makeup remover wipes: cut a roll of paper towels in half, place in container and soak with 4 cups warm water and desired mixture (including coconut oil). For baby wipes add 1-2 squirts of baby wash. For make up remover wipes just add the coconut oil (& a squirt of your favorite face wash if you want) For cleaning wipes add a few drops of concentrated cleaner.
Homemade Baby / Makeup Remover / Cleaning Wipes! You can view the whole tutorial for making your own "wipes" HERE at WhiteHouseBlackShutters.com. But quite honestly, the process is so simple I'm not sure you even need a "tutorial". It involves cutting a roll of paper towels in half, placing in container and soaking with 4 cups warm water and desired mixture (including coconut oil). The ingredients differ only slightly depending on what kind of wipes you're making. For baby wipes: 4 cups warm water (one reader recommends DISTILLED water to inhibit the growth of mold), 1-2 tablespoons Coconut Oil, and 1-2 squirts of baby wash. For make up remover wipes: 4 cups warm water, 1-2 tablespoons Coconut Oil. (1-2 squirts of baby wash or your your favorite face wash if you want, but it's not necessary) UPDATE: 11/29/11: A couple of people who have tried this have said their wipes started developing mold within a couple of weeks. A couple of things to try are: Making smaller batches so you are using them up faster....OR....adding some Tea Tree Oil, which is supposed to inhibit the growth of mold. Hope this helps someone out! I really love my homemade makeup remover wipes! I haven't had the mold issue...but I live in SUCH a dry state! Don't know if that has anything to do with it or not.
An all natural Microdermabrasion - need to try this one!
Cleaning Face, Facials Scrubs, Skin Feelings, Face Scrubs, Essential Oil, Feelings Wonder, Baking Sodas, Facial Scrubs, Sodas Water
Baking Soda Microdermabrasion - Start with a clean face. Make a slightly soupy paste with 2 Tbsp baking soda, water & 2-3 drops orange essential oil (for toning effect). Working in small circles, rub the entirety of your face very lightly. Do this for five minutes. Rinse very well.
I did this tonight. My skin feels incredible! Baking soda facial scrub. 2 TB baking soda and distilled water.
DIY Microdermabrasion with baking soda water! Oh my stars! I tried this and even though I only made it about a minute (rather than the 5 called for) it is amazing! My skin feels wonderfully smooth and clean. This may be the best thing Ive found on Pinterest so far http://www.pinterest.com/corinruss/healthy-hair-skin-and-body/
baking soda face scrub
Let's see if I can actually do this...
