Some dbag did this to my mtb while it was locked...

Sideswiped, working on hanging front wheel on my wall as a reminder. cars suck

I blew this Mavic up on the way home from a house party, it might have been because I was wearin my beer goggles but I never saw it comin. nothin like 13 stitches ad a chipped skull to offset a bike build cost.

A Driver turned left after rolling a Stop Sign...I zigged, he zagged. He WAS nice and apologized - then he gave me a ride home

This picture is way over exposed, on account of me just getting hit by a car and too dazed to set my camera properly. Some old lady on a cellphone at a stop sign literally made eye contact with me and then gunned it. It defies normal logic, so I assume she just was an aerospoke hater. I got to ride in the back of a cop car without going to jail though.

Here is a pic of a wheel I tacoed. I also have the nick name "taco tony" given to me by felt bicycles from tacoing one of there demo bikes. thanks

My very 1st clash with a car. Happened late in then night, a driver did not notice me and drove off from a junction. Manage to swerve away just a bit to avoid head on hit and my body slide along the side of the car. Was a little banged up with minor cuts and bruises. The car got a smashed front bumper, hood and side mirror.

It was a beautiful sunny day. I was cruising down the pacific coast highway in hermosa beach. When suddenly a Mercedes Kompressor decided to cut me off in the middle of a decent...... Now let me tell you..... You havnt lived until you have flipped over the hood of a car at 25 miles an hour. I was just happy to see the driver had made it out completly unharmed. His car wasn't so fortunate.

Even in cities like Munich Germany with extensive bike lanes and a high percentage of bicycle commuters drivers fail to look for cyclists. Green light clear intersection and next thing I know car hits me before they even hit their brakes.

I sideswiped a garbage truck one time and it ran over the rear half of my Major Jake. It was literally the second ride on my new Ritchey wheels.

Then there was the time a driver turned left from opposing traffic, saw me, and stopped right in front of me. I put my head through the windshield. Again, the Major Jake.

An entry for the Taco Wheel contest: As I came around the turn off of the Sheepskin Trail and onto the Bowest Bridge (the Great Allegheny Passage above Connellsville), I took the turn a little wide and started to skid on the gravelly/sandy surface. I turned the wheel to keep from sideswiping the bridge railing, turned too far and the tire dug in sideways. The wheel folded up like a taco and stopped dead, allowing inertia to send me flying over the handlebars...

This pic is from 1985. Incident took place late September, midnight. I was coming home from night school. My bike was fully lit, front and rear, plus 4 rear reflectors on panniers. I was hit from behind by the drunk driver of a pickup truck. Hit and run. I was hit at about 25-30mph. I flew up in the air, the pickup went under me and I landed on my backside unhurt. Just a scratch on the backside of..

My MIL rides everywhere, never had a drivers license. She grew up in China and has lived in the USA only 10 years. We live on Long Island NY. Anyway her vision isn't the best and she walked the bike into the pedestrian crosswalk and a driver who's vision also wasn't the best ran over her front wheel, knocking her down. This happened a few years ago. She is fine and still rides her bicycle everywhere.

How's this for a Soft taco? while riding one afternoon several years ago, i came across the back of a delivery truck backing up from a narrow & small loading dock while i was moving full speed. i tried to beat it to the punch until it clipped the side of the frame and i bailed. luckily i caught myself well enough, but the bike was smashed as it rolled under the truck before the driver realized it.

Hanging out in the right hand lane taking a right when the driver beside me in the lane going straight decided he wanted to go right. Right into me that is. All is well with me. Bent my fork back straight but I'm 1 wheel short between my 700c bikes so I'm constantly switching the front wheel around from bike to bike.

A wonderful young lady with no regard for stop signs took me out on my commute home. My collarbone looked a bit like this rim (actually broken in 2 spots) but I'm healed now and back at it.

I was at work doing a graveyard shift feeding drunks when I came out to find that someone decided they hated my bike or that they hated they couldn't steal it. This happened 2 weeks after I had gotten my new rear wheel which, thankfully, was fine and allowed me to walk the bike home at 5 in the morning.

Velocity makes a good wheel but Chevrolet makes a better car i guess.
