How to Descale & Clean Your Keurig Brewer: Fill external reservoir with white vinegar. Run 4 large cups through the Keurig, disposing of the hot vinegar each time. Be sure "auto off" is disengaged, and kept hot vinegar stay in Keurig 4 hours to overnight. Flush out vinegar by running fresh water through--Keurig instructions say to run at least 12 large cups of fresh water at the end to flush out all cleaning solution.

my mom does this-Cleaning fruit - fill sink with water, add 1 C. vinegar, mix. Add all fruit and soak for 10 minutes. Water will be dirty and fruit will sparkle with no wax or dirty film. Great for Berries too--keeps them from molding. I do this with strawberries and they last for weeks!

Using the hottest water available, run the dishwasher through a cycle. The vinegar will help to wash away the loose, greasy grime, sanitizes, and helps remove the musty odor. Next, sprinkle a cupful of baking soda around the bottom of the tub and run it through a short cycle. The baking soda will help freshen and removing stains.... good to do every 6 mths
