Solomon's Pool found in ruins. God gave us the measurement of Pi long before man did. - 1Ki 7:23 KJV - And he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, and his height was five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.
Bethesda Ruins has pools and ruins with multiple layers. One pool was constructed during the first Temple period, based on a dam that collected rain water flowing in the valley and stored it in a natural lake. Then the waters were directed from the lake to the temple in an open channel. There are two references in the Torah to the "upper pool", which may have been the name of the pool.
Via Dolorosa. Where Jesus walked through with his cross on his way to calvary.

The unfinished obelisk is the largest known ancient obelisk and is located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt in Aswan (Assuan), Egypt. Archaeologists claim the pharaoh known as Hatshepsut sanctioned its construction. It is nearly one third larger than any ancient Egyptian obelisk ever erected. If finished it would have measured around 42 m (approximately 137 feet) and would have weighed nearly 1,200 tons.

Stonehenge in 2007. Prehistoric monument, 8 miles north of Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. The remains of standing stones built between 3000BC to 2000BC.
Stonehenge, I could've sat there all day! This has been my favorite place so far!
Made it to England... but not to Stonehenge.... still on my bucket list and a great reason to travel back across the pond.
"Stonehenge was built as a monument to unify the peoples of Britain, researchers have concluded after 10 years of archaeological investigations.Scientists working on the Stonehenge Riverside Project (SRP) believe the enigmatic stone circle was built as a grand act of union after a long period of conflict between east and west Britain. Coming from southern England and from west Wales, the stones may have been used to represent the ancestors of some of Britain's earliest farming communities."

"Meteor over stone hedge England" Even in the darkness there is a light. There is a light of hope and wonder. There is no way to know how someone, or a group of people, could build such a monument in the prehistoric times. Many questions are asked of how it was done with out the tools and technology that the world has to offer today. Was this an act of nature, an act of God, or was it truly built by man kind. This gives society excitement, hope, and wonder to what the future and the past holds.
