My current haven. The couch in our "classroom" acts as a place of serenity for me. I am currently reading: "Chicago, Then and Now" by Elizabeth McNulty, an advanced copy of "Wife 22" by Melanie Gideon, and "Desire to Inspire" by Christine Mason Miller.

I do this ALL the time.

Clearing clutter creates freedom. The freedom of clear, unfettered thinking. The freedom to create what you desire in your daily life. The freedom to pursue your dreams. The freedom to create a home that nourishes you. If you do nothing else for yourself before Thanksgiving, choose one area of your home and make it a sanctuary. Tackle the piles. Clear up those undone tasks. Complete what’s half done. Clear clutter from your space so that you can walk and breathe.

Mother of girls....shoes in the hallway and clothes on the floor: the line is backed up at the bathroom door. Makeup and hairspray and gadgets for hair: dresses and jeans and pink underwear. All colors of jars to polish your nails. A mother spends hours shopping for sales. Things that smell good and lipstick and curls. I'm sure you can guess I am a mother of a girl.

Gain Clarity on Your Heart’s Desire: If you don’t gain clarity around your deepest desires, then everything that is, on the surface, perfect, won’t feel that way.
