Thanksgiving is right around the corner! If you are looking for a Thanksgiving Side dish that is easy to make you have to try Maple Roasted Brussels Sprouts. You can make this recipe in four steps and find everything you need to make it at Walmart.
There is no other way to eat them now that I have tried them this way! Clean them, cut them in half, mix EVO, onion powder, sea salt, and juice from 1/2 of a lemon, stir the sprouts in the mixture and place on a cookie sheet and bake for 25 minuets. Oh and make sure you put all the leaves that fell off on the pan... they get really crispy and are a treat to the palate!
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Blanch the sprouts for 3-4 minutes. Plunge into an ice bath. Allow to marinate for 30 minutes. Grill for 3-5 minutes on each side, or until the sprouts are nicely charred on all sides.
