Scrap quilt to get rid of pink, red and orange--wonky stars (thanks to Elizabeth Hartman's quilt along), wonky houses (thanks to the tutorial on the modern quilt guild's site) and some wonky trees. It is really hard to take a good photo of a quilt top--any advice?
Baby Quilt for Anne
Baby quilt for Anne using Kona Coal and a variety of Heather Ross fabrics. I broke out my stash of Munki Munki fabric for this one. I made wonky stars of random sizes and then pieced them together. I used Monaluna mingle flannel dots on the back in aqua. The binding is a orange dot from Jenean Morrison's picnic parade line. Quilting was done in straight(ish) lines in aqua thread. Finished size approx. 50" x 61" or so. check out my flickr stream to see details of the blocks…
