Isamu Noguchi, 'The Footstep,' Mannari granite, pine. Inspired by Buddhapada (footprint of the Buddha) stones seen in India, this floor sculpture was at one time used as a stepping stone at the base of stairs in Noguchi's Long Island City studio and home.
