A self-taught photographer, Lee Jeffries started out photographing sports events. He started to take portraits of homeless people after meeting a homeless man in the streets of London, when he was covering the London marathon. Deeply moved, he then decided to give a voice to those that haunt the streets without attracting the slightest look, to "the invisible".
