“Fluency Finder” It’s an app for your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, where you can list your students and then assess their reading levels. It is a really good idea because the app stores all the information for you, the passages and the information found from the assessment for future viewing and comparing.

quiet critters-when you decide it is important for students to be quiet pass out quiet critters- take them away from students who talk. At the end of the activity anyone who still has a quiet critter gets a prize, point, whatever you use. Brilliant!

You put an item in the mystery bag and then have the kids take turns asking questions to try to narrow down the possibilities. It is great to develop deductive reasoning skills. (You could also do this with sticky notes all week and "reveal" it on Friday. Have a separate piece of paper where students place their questions throughout the week. As you have time, move their questions to the "Yes" or "No" side. It will generate excitement all week long.)

How to Dye Clothes Pins. Trying this for my HW line.

Homemade Slime. Super fun and easy project to do with the kids

You better clear a few hours for this website. It's like a Pinterest of classroom setups. DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU!!!
