I enjoyed this quote in relationship to Wheatley's quote on p. 21 that says, "The things we fear most in organizations--disruptions, confusion, chaos--need not be interpreted as signs that we are about to be destroyed. Instead, these conditions are necessary to awaken creativity." It says to me that maintaining order  can result in complacency and stagnation, whereas chaos can produce innovation.
