I used to make greeting cards from them but now I'm going to use this technique as a promotional tool. I made 25 scratch off tickets and will include 1 ticket with every order I ship.
How to make a scratch off ticket/card/etc...how cool is this!?!? cardboard, a print-out of your lottery ticket, glue stick, sticky back plastic (contact paper), metallic acrylic paint (preferably silver) and washing liquid. Easy DIY Ice Packs - take dish soap, pour it into a ziploc bag, select the size you want according to what you would use most, then freeze it. The soap doesn’t solidify so it molds to the shape you need, it gets colder and stays colder longer and you can get your kids favorite color of soap so they are more likely to keep it on their injury.
Homemade Icepacks: water, dish soap, rubbing alcohol....it doesn't freeze totally solid, but like purchased gel packs that contour to your body
Homemade Icepacks. This is so cool - you use plain Dawn....it doesn't freeze totally solid but like those gel packs you can buy where you contour them to your body. Use 3 cups dish soap to 1cup rubbing alcohol.
Homemade Icepacks. This is so cool(!) Plain dish soap and a little rubbing alcohol. Doesn't freeze totally solid but like those gel packs you can buy where you contour them to your body. So neat!
Homemade Icepacks. This is so cool - you use plain Dawn....it doesn't freeze totally solid but like those gel packs you can buy where you contour them to your body. So neat! DIY Ice Pack Recipe 1. Select Ziploc bag size of choice (double or triple bag to protect against leaks). 2. Get a big bottle of cheap dish soap. 3. Load up the Ziploc about 1/2 – 3/4 full. Close the bag a couple of times squishing out the air each time. Freeze.
Homemade Ice Pack - There are a few options given. These will not freeze rock hard like water. (2) Fill baggy 1/2 full with a 2 parts water/1 part rubbing alcohol mixture (3) Fill baggy 1/2 full with Karo Syrup (not the sugar free kind). It is suggested that you double bag the mixture to prevent leaks or you can freeze the mixture first then place in a food saver bag and seal with vacuu...

Dawn Dish Soap for a cheap ice pack - money saver!
Homemade Ice Packs- love this! This tip I learned from Dr Sears reciently on The Doctor's. Save money on buying ice packs and take dish soap, pour it into a ziploc bag, select the size you want according to what you would use most, then freeze it. The soap doesn't solidify so it molds to the shape you need, it gets colder and stays colder longer and you can get your kids favorite color of soap so they are more likely to keep it on their injury. ***DIY Ice Pack Recipe*** 1. Select Ziploc bag size of choice (double or triple bag to protect against leaks). 2. Get a big bottle of cheap dish soap. 3. Load up the Ziploc about 1/2 – 3/4 full. Close the bag a couple of times squishing out the air each time. Freeze. **Note: If you read the comments from this post, it looks like adding rubbing alcohol to the soap is recommended!
