Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout (It's about time I got to this one! I wasn't sure what to expect, having heard from others that it was more like a collection of short stories than a novel. It had that feel, yet was more connected than short stories usually are, with each story having at least a tangential connection with the title character -- Olive Kitteridge. Definitely worth the read!) (2013)

My Enemy's Cradle by Sara Young (I mostly really liked this one. It sheds light on an aspect of WWII I'd never even heard of before picking up this book. And the few main characters were nicely drawn. There was something...slightly out of step here and there in the book for me, like one thing would be glossed over and another looked at in depth. But overall, definitely worth the read.) (2013)

E.M. Forster: Three Complete Novels: Howards End, A Room With a View, Where Angels Fear to Tread (I finally finished the third and final in this volume, Where Angels Fear to Tread. It was my second favorite, I think, after A Room With a View. I like Forster and would recommend these if you're looking for a lighter classic.) (2013)
