teaching children about letters, preschool letters, kindergarten letters, letters in preschool, letters in kindergarten, learning about letters, letters for kids, kids learning letters

Floor Tape Letters...spell out your child's name or initials, have them use vehicles to trace the letter over and over while saying the letter name (or have the car make the letter sound repeatedly while driving on the letter "road").

Write the child's name in yellow highlighter, then have them choose a different bingo dabbler to dab each letter of their name. This really helps with letter formation and letter identification ( so important to identify the letters in their name for kdg readiness)

Create a class book of names. Children glue their letters on in the correct order. Then complete sentence after counting the number of letters in their name.

Learning and Teaching With Preschoolers: Daily Child Sign-In

Attach this poem to a paper bag --- This "Me Bag" is for the beginning of the year. It's great to build a classroom community and to get to know your kiddos.

This file includes a holiday show and tell for your students to fill out and then share with the class. Students can record down their favorite holiday traditions, songs, foods, and games to assist them in presenting about their family's holiday traditions to their classmates.

Learning and Teaching With Preschoolers: Farm Unit

Show & tell coupon. Love it! The kids are going to love it too!

Show and tell in kindergarten: "Secret in a Bag." Each day a student takes the bag home, chooses an object to "hide" inside, and writes three clues about it. The next day, they return the bag and share their clues to see if the class can guess what it is!
