Erdinger Dunkel - beer of choice currently (just got gifted 6 of these, could wait on more, but they'll go pretty quick)

New Belgium + Perennial Artisan Ales Salted Belgian Chocolate Stout -- Nice chocolate aroma with a light noticeable yeast component. Sweet, sugary, and with a good dose of roasted malt on the nose too. Chocolate flavors really pop at the beginning, but the beer is not sweet at all. And the Belgian yeast was very prominent, much more than the aroma let on. You also will not miss the alcohol kick in the front of this beer! Secondary flavors of coffee and licorice and boozy cherries all take turns.

Young's Double Chocolate Stout. A very chocolaty beer great for pairing with rich desserts. If you like chocolate raspberry cake, try drinking this with it.

Pliny the Younger - Currently the number one beer on Beer Advocate. This is a white whale if there has ever been one. The supply demand ratio makes even getting to try this beer an accomplishment.

New Zealand craft brewery Garage Project reveals how they make their Hops on Pointe beer cans and it's like watching a machinery ballet unfold before our eyes. It's funny to imagine these big honking machines made of metal and wires dressed in tutus but there is a surprising elegance to the can making process.
