Pyrex 2.5-quart sage green covered casserole with gold-tone stand in the 1962 promotional Medallion pattern, no. 6362. This is in excellent condition. The original candle has been burned slightly and there is a bit of soot on the underside of the candle cover. The casserole is in near mint or mint condition. I have been a collector since I was a child.... mostly aimless & pointless collections. Nothing very valuable, not too trendy, and rarely in mint condition. Getting embossed as opposed to incised, and the material becoming glass, it is obviously molded in as opposed to stamped. It's a crystalline material and was probably the big part of the very first glass employed by humans.
