Place a 2-lb pork tenderloin in a slow cooker, pour a 12-oz can of root beer over it and cook on high for 6 hours. Discard juice, cover pork with 1 18-oz jar bbq sauce and heat until sauce is warm. Serve on buns. This was the best pulled pork !!
This is truly the best pulled pork recipe I have ever had. When my youngest daughter decided she loved bbq I wanted to make it at home and spent some time perfecting it. I went through some pork shoulders experimenting but it was fun doing it. Now I have this recipe for pulled pork that literally takes minutes - I start it in the morning, put in the slow cooker and it's perfect and tender and falling apart by dinner.
