Dr. "Debi" (Debra) Thomas, MD, figure skater and physician. She is the 1st and so far only African American to ever win a medal in the Olympics in figure skating (she won bronze at the 1988 Winter Olympic Games), and was the 1st African American to win the Championship event at the United States National Figure Skating Championships, in both 1986 & 1988. She has a Bachelors from Standford University and a MD from Northwestern University, and is currently an orthopedic surgeon.

Devon Harris (born 1964 in Kingston, Jamaica) was one of the members of the first Jamaican Bobsled Team, which first competed in the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Alberta. Harris went on to compete in the 1992 Winter Olympics and the 1998 Winter Olympics. He will also be a guest speaker at the Jamaica 50th event hosted by Oliver Samuels.
