"A double minded fool" is what it's called in the Holy Bible. Don't think that you can say you're living a righteous Christian life, while you're still living a sneaky, secretive, morally & Godly wrong life.
Religious "morals" are shit. Thank goodness that we have a bunch of lip service, armchair, religious people who never read their corrupt instruction manual. Because if we did we would live in a violent hateful murderous society full of fear and religious oppression and barbaric delusion.
It is the Lord's purpose to develop character within us. "The crucible for silver and the furnace for gold, but the LORD tests the heart" (Proverbs 17:3). Godly character is the result of the Holy Spirit's work of sanctification. Character in the believer is a consistent manifestation of Jesus in his life. It is the purity of heart that God gives becoming purity in action.
