This picture features Kelly Haen, UWSP Student, in a wheelchair. The contraption she is using has a boot on a stick. This can be used for a student in a wheelchair to kick a ball with twisting the foam hurdle that is across their lap. Depending on the wheelchair and the student adjustments may have to be made on how it fits for the student to be able to be successful. Placing the ball on a cone is also an option is the ball on the ground is too low. Source: Joel Heroux, UWSP Student
"This is a fun game is similar to capture the flag, but for students of all levels and abilities, including those in wheelchairs. It gives students a chance to work on directional cues, mobility skills, and orientation skills, while having the opportunity to maneuver around in an open space."
