The town of Agloe, New York, was invented by map makers, but the practice of inserting fictional towns, roads, rivers or other geographical has been in place nearly as long as cartography itself. The weird thing that happened with Agloe, though, doesn’t really ever happen: it became a real place. The Agloe General Store was built at its fictional location, prompting the (real) county administrator to declare Agloe an actual town. ives/130593#ixzz1yFqLjwwp --brought to you by mental_floss!
Ze verschuilt zich in Agloe, New York en daar leeft ze in een huisje in een veld.
On Omnictionary, I commented on the talk page that I would be in Agloe, New York on May 29th. I never thought anyone would find it after I ran away. And even if they did find it, I never thought anyone would find it as fast as Q and his friends would. I guess I just thought no one would care so I wrote it thinking it would be funny.
