"Busta aka "Stagga back". Sweets named after National Hero and former Prime Minister of Jamaica, Sir Alexander Bustamante. The name was adopted because the texture of the sweet is believed to be the embodiment of Bustamante's firm character. It is a dark, tough sweet made from grated coconut and wet sugar. It is believed to have entered the market at a cost of a "farthing each (four for one penny wrapped in skimpy grease-proof paper)." Hence, the price of Busta made it popular."
