Alexis Korner (19 April 1928 — 1 January 1984) was a blues musician and radio broadcaster, who has sometimes been referred to as "a Founding Father of British Blues".

▶ Robert Plant - Steal Away -(1968) - PreZep with British bluesman Alexis Korner and Steve Miller (Piano). Robert Plant took the 6 Demos from the Band of Joy down to London and then hooked up with Alexis Korner . Terry Reid introduced Jimmy Page to the new singer, Robert Plant, and they wondered why Plant had not yet been discovered. Plant and Korner were in the process of recording a full album with Plant on vocals until Page had asked him to join "the New Yardbirds", aka Led Zeppelin.
