Community circle, or community meeting, is the time of day when the teacher and students greet each other, take time to build inclusion and community, and practice social skills. These questions are used a quick-reference to use daily to allow each student to share something about themselves in a non-intimidating way. Use them to help create your own!
Get to know your kiddos with this fun, movement-based activity! Students can become familiar with the game "Scoot" in an informal way. Students will get to answer a variety of questions related to going back to school, summer break, and general get-to-know-you type questions. Use these as a whole class game, or place in a center/workstation. There are 24 cards, recording sheets with boxes big enough to write, directions for how to play the game. Don't forget to follow me on TPT.
Making an "All About Me" book is a wonderful early #literacy experience. Encourage the child to be as active as possible in the creation of the book. If he is able, have him answer the questions himself. All pages should have print, #braille and textures or objects to make them #accessible to the child.
