Christmas Area and Perimeter Map Project

This Christmas Map Project will have your students begging for more math time! Have students create their own map of Santa's Village at the North Pole! They will be using area, perimeter, multiplication, arrays, factor pairs, graphing and MORE! You can either give them all the units for each item on the map or have them decide the size of each item. Each map will be a unique creation. This project can easily be differentiated to fit all the needs in your classroom!

The total trip only takes about 6 hours of drive time round-trip, so you can take the trip within 3 days and 3 nights. (We recommended staying overnight in the Columbus area one night, the Cincinnati area the next night and the Dayton area the last night.) We’ve included a link to the Google Map

Manhattan. This reminds me of my brother Dan....he explained to me what each little area of New York's atmosphere is like. He's a dreamer for sure and I love him for it! He will go far in life.
