A new discovery was announced today in Gotland by Dan Carlsson, Associate Professor of Human Geography at Gotland Allehanda. The 4cm long metal pendant depicts the god Odin with a horned helm and has holes on the sides, suggesting it was a pendant. This is the first discovery of it’s type in Gotland, yet it is virtually identical to another find from the historical Russian viking town of Staraya Ladoga. Original story here
C. Samuel Storms (born on February 6, 1951) is an American Calvinist, theologian, pastor and author. He currently is the pastor of Bridgeway Church in Oklahoma City. In 2000, he left Kansas City to become a visiting associate professor at Wheaton College, in Wheaton, Illinois. In 2008 he became the lead pastor of Bridgeway Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Sam serves on the board of Desiring God Ministries, Bethlehem College and Seminary and Acts 29 Network.
