Woodlawn Plantation The Greek Revival in Louisiana had two major characteristics, first, the development of the old French raised cottage into a more or less square building with a hipped roof and surrounded on the four sides by columns. Here two large wings are added to a familiar type of Louisiana house, forming an unusual ornamental composition.
