John Oliver: How is Ayn Rand still a thing!?i have often wondered the same thing John asks about in this segment of his most excellent show. Just one more note on Ayn Rand's philosophy ... My husband, Mark, was watching an interview with Rand on TV. When asked what would happen to all of the people who were left behind in society if no one helped them. Ayn Rand's answer was, "They will perish." Wow. Really? That's it? They will perish.
