If you were lucky enough to live in Southern Calif. in the 50's and 60's you might have had the Helms Bakery truck drive down your street in the morning. The driver gave a couple whistles and we all ran out to the back of the truck, impatiently waiting for him to pull out those long, flat drawers full of warm donuts. It was always glazed for us kids. I still remember what a treat that was.

Milk delivered to your home! 50's and 60's. We had milk delivered in brown bottles; we'd leave them on the front porch in the metal carrier.
