In 1389, Prince Lazar, Serbia’s King Leonidas, stopped the Ottomans from advancing into Europe. When, after finally conquering Serbia in 1459, the Ottomans marched on Vienna, Europe was ready and they were repelled. Had the Serbs not stopped them in Kosovo in 1389, the outcome would likely have been much less favourable.

Kosovka devojka / Maiden of Kosovo - that national attire she's wearing looks gorgeous. This is lesson how you should always think twice who you vote for. Serbs once voted tyrant named Slobodan Milošević- it all resulted in Serbia losing Kosovo, which was part of it's territory, since forever, and worse still, entirety of serbian history took place at Kosovo, and it's all gone now - every country allowed for kosovo + serbian history to be severed from the rest of the country.
