Bessie Love (September 10, 1898 – April 26, 1986) was an American motion picture actress who achieved prominence mainly in the silent films and early talkies. With a small frame and delicate features, she played innocent young girls, flappers, and wholesome leading ladies. Her role in The Broadway Melody earned her a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress.

Bessie Love, silent film star 1920's. I would say that she could win a beauty contest with Anita Page. Anita Page is very pretty but Bessie is much prettier!! I think it is in the eyes.
