The six-time Pro Bowler earned the nickname "Captain Comeback" for helping the Cowboys overcome fourth-quarter deficits 23 times. He led Dallas to seven division titles and two Super Bowl victories. He was named MVP of Super Bowl VI and inducted into the Cowboys' Ring of Honor in 1983.
