Restaurant Style Filet Mignon....made this for Scott's 40th birthday and it was probably one of the best steaks we have ever had. The herbed butter put it over the top! I didn't have fresh parsley or fresh thyme so I just used dried. I did use fresh garlic and lemon zest. SO good!
Trying out this "Lobster Colorado" recipe on allrecipes.com. Basically: beef (the original recipe uses filet mignon- beef shank is going to have to do for tonight!) wrapped in bacon and topped with buttery lobster pieces. Surf and turf at its best.
