Create a cute and easy DIY suet bird feeder by upcycling a coffee mug from the thrift store! Make your own suet by melting beef fat and mixing in seed, OR just melt down a suet cake from the store. A stick from the yard makes the perfect freebit perch. #SadieSeasongoods www.sadieseasongoods.com
Butterfly Feeder Brighten up your garden with a fabulous butterfly feeder! 10 parts water with one part sugar. Heat the mixture until the sugar dissolves, and allow to cool. Spoon some of the sugar water mixture onto the sponge until it is saturated Be careful not to add too much sugar to the butterfly food mixture. A higher concentration of sugar can dehydrate the butterflies. Tutorial via ‘ehow’
Wine bottle bird feeder! We made this from an old pallet, an empty wine bottle, and thrift store martini glass (plus a little leftover copper wire for hanging). The bottle slides out for easy filling. Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle to make cute, useful projects. :)
