These truly are amazing! I did use self-rising flour instead though, without the salt and baking powder. As well as applesauce in place of the butter/oil, much healthier option. :)

Easy Biscuits Recipe - Food.com - 135930 -- made without shortening: 2 c flour, 3 tsp baking powder, 2 T sugar, 1 tsp salt, 1/3 c oil, 2/3 c milk. Mix dry ingredients, then wet. Form ball. Roll out between 2 sheets of plastic wrap until dough is 1/2" thick. Cut into 2" biscuits. Bake at 475 degrees for 10-12 mins until lightly brown.
