Black Sabbath, Paranoid***** (1970): One of the greatest sophomore albums of all time. It took the mold that the band set on the first album and expanded the available pallet of heavy metal sounds and structures. (3/7/2014)

Black Sabbaths Tony Iommi's "Old Boy" Built in Birmingham UK by luthier John Diggins sometime between 1975 and 1978, the guitar was first used for overdubs on the 'Heaven and Hell' album and later became one of Iommi's main guitars. The guitar is equipped with a 24 fret neck with custom cross inlays, five control knobs (three of which are functional) and a highly distressed finish. He had two more built for him.

Day 11 - a song I never get tired of: Black Sabbath's title track to the album with the same name from 1980...which is the first album featuring Ronnie James Dio (1942 - 2010). The song is about the ability of each human being to choose between doing good and doing evil, essentially that each person has "heaven and hell" inside themselves.
