Memphis Minnie (June 3, 1897 – August 6, 1973[1]) was a blues guitarist, vocalist and songwriter. She was the only female blues artist considered a match to male contemporaries as both a singer and an instrumentalist.

R. Crumb made a series of card about Mississippi Delta blues artists, like one of my favorites, Mississippi John Hurt. He must be a huge fan to do so much research and work on each card. The country music cards are great too.
