Have one student sit on a chair in front of a white board while the others wrote a positive phrase about them. They could not peek at what was being written. It was fun to watch the smiles on all their faces as they shared what they loved about each other. Take a picture and give it to them in another lesson. It was my hope that this activity will provide a reminder of the positive and sweet influence they are for others.

Q: My chapter has recently had some problems with sisterhood. It just seems like we aren’t as connected as we should/used to be and there’s a lot of gossip that goes around behind each others backs....

Use this activity as an ice breaker for the first week of school or as a classroom community builder. I have my students sit in a circle around our carpet, and I project the "Roll a topic" sheet up on the SmartBoard. Each student takes a turn rolling the dice and answering the corresponding question.
