Smoked Brisket Marinade •2 8-ounce cans of cola (not diet) •1/4 cup olive oil •1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce •3 cloves garlic, minced •1 tablespoon salt Combine all ingredients and mix until the salt is completely dissolved. This makes enough marinade for a small brisket, so you might need to double the recipe. Place brisket in a large deep dish. Cover with marinade and refrigerate overnight to 12 hours.
Lazy Day Beef Brisket on BigOven: Marinate for up to 48 hours in the refrigerator, and then bake it in the oven. It's as easy as that to have tender, flavorful brisket. Leftovers can be frozen for chopped beef sandwiches. This marinade recipe will work, without doubling it, for up to a 10 pound brisket. I just did a five pound because my family is small.
