If you’ve never done this before, you are seriously missing out. Grapefruit is good but broiled grapefruit is GOOOD. The sugars caramelize and the flesh gets a little warm and gooey and it’s a sweet, tangy, brûléed masterpiece for your tastebuds. I highly recommend it.
Broiled Grapefruit: 1 ripe grapefruit, halved, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1/4 tsp cinnamon In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and spices. Spread evenly over the top of the halved grapefruits. Place the baking sheet on the top shelf of the oven and broil the grapefruits for 4-6 minutes
Warm Pear with Cinnamon Ricotta *This recipe got 2 stars but I can see the potential in it. Play with your recipes. I'd add some Vanilla and Honey to the Ricotta/Cinnamon Mixture. Take a base and add ingredients to jazz it up a bit. Enjoy!
