"Bugsy" in 1991 directed by Barry Levinson (Baltimore 1942). American crime-drama film. Tells the story of mobster Bugsy Siegel, who was a major driving force behind large-scale development of the Las Vegas. The film won two Academy Awards (Art Direction, Costume Design), and was nominated for Picture, Actor (Beatty), Actor in Supporting Role (Keitel and Kingsley), Cinematography, Director, Music, Original Score and Screenplay. Received eight Golden Globe nominations and won Picture-Drama.
