Crocosmia (Montbretia) These are very easy to grow. The orange flowers are trumpet shaped and appear alternately along the stems. The leaves are long and narrow. This is one of the few summer flowers that are not eaten by the deer.
Tulips, crocus, hyacinth, daffodils...Place bulbs shoulder to shoulder across the surface of the soil, leaving no space between them. top off with more potting soil so the bulbs are just slightly below the surface. Water each container thoroughly. finish with a layer of mulch. Leave pots outdoors for winter chilling. The more exposure to cold the better they’ll bloom.
