1 1/2 sticks of butter, 3 cups sugar, 1 (6oz) box Mochiko Flour, 1 tsp Baking Powder, 1 tsp Vanilla Extract, 4 Eggs, 1 can Coconut Milk, 2 cups milk. Mix, Bake.

Custard Coconut Mochi. Now that I've made a lot of mochi recipes, I prefer those that use coconut and evaporated milk instead of fresh for a better, richer flavor and truer mochi texture. Those made with whole milk are too cakey for me. And not as custardy. But to each his own. This recipe is the tested best so far. Also use real vanilla beans and coconut extract.
