Stuffed Cabbage Rolls are an excellent way to use fall foods. Simply sauté any assortment of veggies you get at the market, add seasonings and cheeses to your liking and stuff cabbage leaves (roll it like a burrito). Then, place your rolls in an oven-safe dish, cover with a sauce of your choosing and bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
Amazing Stuffed Cabbage Rolls. Tender leaves of cabbage stuffed and rolled with beef, garlic, onion and rice, simmered in a rich tomato sauce. --Made on 4-11-16. Used only 2 Tbs brown sugar and 2 T red wine vinegar, and no raisins, as I hate raisins with a passion. It was deliscious! It also freezes well. I reheated them in a cast iron Dutch Oven on stovetop. I put a jar of home canned Rotel on the bottom, and then stacked the rolls to reheat. Still absolutely amazing!
